Digital transformation-Tunisian Customs (NSID)
Advanced Industrial Utilities Solutions (AIUS) played a key role in the digital transformation of the Tunisian Customs Administration through the implementation of the New System for Integrated Customs Management (NSID). This strategic e-government initiative, supported by the World Bank, aims to modernize customs operations, enhance transparency, and improve the efficiency of trade facilitation processes in Tunisia.
Project Overview
The project was implemented for the Tunisian General Customs Directorate (DGD) as part of a national digitalization program. In collaboration with international partners, the initiative focused on the development and deployment of the NSID platform, a comprehensive system designed to manage customs procedures digitally and streamline interactions between customs authorities and stakeholders.
The NSID platform introduces advanced digital workflows, enabling customs operations to transition from manual and fragmented processes to an integrated and automated system.
AIUS Contribution
AIUS acted as the Lead Business Analysis Partner, supporting the end-to-end implementation of the NSID framework.
